Transition to 11: ArchiCAD 11 Upgrade Class
Transition to 11 is a four-hour lecture/demonstration class designed to help you hit the ground running with the new features of ArchiCAD 11. Our instructors will walk you through features you will find useful in your practice and day-to-day work. They will also point out improvements that will make you happier at the office.

- Virtual Trace: an industry first, allows the Ghost Story concept to be applied to any view in the project enabling. Simultaneous development of the 3D model and 2D documents with visual feedback similar to virtual tracing paper.
- Visual compare: easily synchronize all documents and track differences via a movable splitter bar.
- Interior Elevation Tool: new dedicated tool for easily generating interior elevations directly linked to the model.
- Multi-story hot links: entire multi-story buildings can be hot-linked at once to a site plan.
- Worksheet Tool: 2D drawing environment linked to the model; easily merge consultant’s drawings and place details within details, within details…
- Curved custom profiled walls: allows total freedom to create curved vertical, canted or bulged walls.
- X-ref layer separation: quickly sorts X-refs from normal layers for quicker layer navigation.
- Pen sets in Views: allows custom pen sets to be applied in View settings.
- Enhanced drawing markers: provides a unified logic for all tools that involve placing markers, facilitating faster and easier drawing navigation.
- New PDF writer: allows more flexibility in producing PDF files.
- Long file names: freedom to choose your naming convention with no character limitations.
- Learn how to import 3D free objects from Google 3D warehouse and how to upload your models into Google Earth via the new plug-in.
